A paid focus group is a discussion group where consumers participate and share opinions and ideas about the products or services they use. Focus group participants are compensated for their time.

Usually paid focus groups have 4 - 12 people.The focus group discussion is moderated by a focus group moderator. The focus group research lasts around 1 or 2 hours.

There are 2 types of paid focus groups: in-person focus groups and online focus groups. In-person focus group study is conducted at the office location of the focus group company. Online focus groups study is a web based bulletin board where the focus group discussion is controlled by focus group moderators and people participate online from their home or office.

Focus group participants are paid by check for in-person focus group study. Online focus group participants are paid by check or Paypal. Paid focus groups usually pay $30 - $100 per hour depending on the topics.

We are currently recruiting WOMEN to participate in a paid ONLINE focus group taking place on Monday, May 19th OR Tuesday, May 20th.

Thanks Joyce, I just finished one with them and got a $50 check 3 days ago. It only took 4 days to get paid from them. Their a really good company and pay very well.:claps:

I signed up for myself and was only given like 12 questions. Then I signed up my mom (age 41) and it asked me more questions about kids in home, income, and about the purchase of paper, plastic, and styrophoam (sorry I butchered it) cups, plates, and napkins. And it also gave a list of times and asked when I would be available to take it. Followed by the message cstar posted. So I don't think I got in for myself but my mom has a shot at it.

They called me! They left a message for me to call back so I can answer some more questions. They said it will pay $75 or $100 depending on the length of the survey I take. I called them back and left a message so hopefully I will hear from them again tomorrow.

:eek: I was asked all those questions also. :( I guess being young isn't in your favor. :) You do have a young Mom though.
 
Thanks. I don't think I qualified though. I was moving right along til I told them I had three kids at home.
 
cool site hope I get in we can use the cash. I also joined the whole thing to do surveys and phone.
 
I signed up. Keeping my fingers crossed! That $75 could buy gas for my car.
