8x DVD Burner

A lil birdie tonight showed me something... Tomorrow someone will have the BTC 8x DVD -/+ R on sale for $49.99.. Word I got had to be a pricematch price, so anyone wanting a dirt cheap 8x burner without rebate hassles, tomorrow is your day.. I didn't catch whether it was the 1008 or 1108 model tho... I believe 1108..

Was gonna pickup a Pioneer A07XLA for $54 AR, but why rebate when there's this?

The lil Birdie was @ Fry's... I had a horrible night there, which ended better... Try to return 4 DVD's and it takes the idiots 40min.. They thought I opened one of them.. WTF? Why would I buy 4, open 1, reseal it and return all 4? Where the hell is the sense in that? But when I was in the isle lookin for that cheap Pioneer to be instock (which it isn't unless you live in SD), a sales guy came walking down and I asked him what the cheapest drive was.. Holding a stack of papers, he says wait until tomorrow and points to the BTC.... That's something that's never happened in all the years of me going to Fry's... The return counter on the otherhand.. ugh.. Don't get me started...

Because Fry's doesn't have a Sunday ad, I have to presume it's a pricematch item.. I'm guessing Office Depot or something... I forget which other store sells BTC... All I do know is I'll be there bright and ealy... lol Already got my 50pack of 8x media for 20 bucks, and a 100 52x CDR for a whopping $12...

Better to get a real writer, a Nec, Plextor or Pioneer. These 16x writers are not much more.

Search for 'frys sucks' on the web, you can read about people doing returns.

Yea yea yea, we all know all about Fry's.... Just like we all know about Wally World (Wallmart).... Doesn't keep us from shopping there due to deals... This one for me is one because I have a 50 buck gift cert... So why not go for a free 8x burner...
