I notice that they have different version and different price for the same model number, do you think is there is a big different, are those newer ones, coz some of the are up to 96
 
This drive is OEM, meaning that it is not the retail version of the drive. This drive contains only the drive itself, and maybe the IDE cable used to connect it in your computer.
And to answer the guy's question above regarding why its cheaper than others that look the same: the others are retail versions (brand new) these are OEM (which always work fine, just don't include retail packaging)
 
You don't get software either so you better have that first.

The price keeps dropping on this. Probably because dual layer writers are due any moment.
 
I know oem but in the same web page they are all oem but some are 94 but some are 89

Yeah, I don't know who owns a white faced computer (no one that I know) so black face plates are in demand. You can end up paying a couple extra bucks for it sometimes for no other reason than the fact that it's black.
 
Go to frys; buy the emprex 8x+-/RW drive; it comes with a secondary black faceplate and all the software; and its 89$ in store.
