It lets you get three codes for each different email address you use. I've gotten 30 so far with my various email addresses.

i didnt like the sony connect music "system" it downloads the files to a type that can only be listened to with their software. i tried to burn a cd and half of the songs it wouldnt let me burn.

yeah, their songs are in OMA format, and can only be played using their program.

Apparently, there is a program that can convert oma to WAV format, "WAV Converter Tool" but this can only be done with certain songs.

btw, Rudy22 noted though that you can burn an audio cd using their player, then import the files into another player in mp3 format.
 
That's exactly what I did ... burned the songs to a CD and then ripped them with iTunes. Works like a charm. It can be a pain in the ass, but for free tunes, it's not such a hassle.

Anyone else think that the Sony Connect site sucks? I mean compared to Napster, MSN Music, and iTunes, Sony Connect has got to be the worst in ease of navigation. I definitely won't use Sony Connect when I'm done with my freebie downloads. :D
 
I had some free codes with them and after I downloaded two songs and saw what I had to do just to get the songs on my Nomad Jukebox 3 :banghead: , I just unistalled the program. Considering how cheap I am, that says quite a bit. :D

i'm not sure, but all i know is this offer is good for one code per email addy. perhaps someone signed up for a code using your email addy? :confused:

Extra Codes

They give you three codes per sign-up (worth 9 songs) but then restict you to only using 1 code. This started yesterday, so I am guessing they caught on.... :cry:

I did this today and got one code for 10 free songs after filling out survey link from above
 
Didn't work for me. Says I have already signed up for the code, but I didn't.
