A lot of Stickies...

There are a lot of "Sticky" posts in the off-topic thread. Ever thought about doing a "customer service reference" type page? like the coupon page (not thread)?

I see 4 stickies there and one is temporary just because Pinecone Research is so difficult to sign up for.

Can you elaborate as to your problem, tigger.

The coupon page sticky is temp., the sticky is being used to get attention for a short time. Even being right there some are not reading it, not sure how often users would visit an announcement page.

Would new & daily users visit a reference / announcement page?

Not really a problem Big Daddy... I just thought it was a lot of stickies... We have a 19" monitor so it's not really an issue for me, but I was thinking that other people who have smaller/15" monitors must have to scroll down a bunch before getting to the new posts.

I have a basket under my counter where I throw all my stuff that doesn't have a place to necessarily be stored. Once I have enough in one catagory to warrant finding a permanent place for, I try to do that. I just thought if there were enough "informational" type stickies that maybe it was time to have a place to put them. Maybe not...

It's just a thought that I shared...


And the Pedicure was FANTASTIC. I have hot pink irridescent toenails! Fun fun fun!

Thanks for mentioning this. I think less stickies will make the user experience better. Will come up with something soon.

I renamed "Rebate Issues" to just issues/tips in general and moved the useful stickies there, but you are right. This might be good information for just part of the site like a "specials" or "coupon" section.
