Hello to all at Spoofee,
Thank you for your concern over my well being and where abouts! At this juncture, I think my hinney is still following me around, at least my pants are still being held up!
Any whooooooooooo....allow me to briefly dispel a few misconceptions regarding my sudden disappearance. First off, it was "not intentional!" About two weeks ago, around St. Paddy's day,I poured coffeed, grabbed a donut,and I decided to take ALL of my information down, find a new avatar, and, redo the profile. That decision was dangerous in itself, I am not at all creative!
Preco, you can "blame yourself" for that brainstorm of mine! You always have the nicest avatars, especially around the holidays, so it spurred me on to try something new! :rofl: About the time I was working on that, I received a call from a friend of mine in Perth Australia, who was opening up a clinic, was in a pickle, and, asked me if there was anyway I could "Come to Oz and lend us all a hand!" WTF!!!!!!!!! I try hard to think of my friends and their needs, and so I scrambled to get flight arrangements, get packed, and, have Jeb taken care of by Grandmom. I would have taken Jeb along save the fact he has not had the last of his shots, and would have been stuck in customs/quar. area for up to a month. Not happening! Thus, I left home, family and dog, leaving my profile down, no avatar, no nuttin, and, no time to remedy the same!
The second misconception of my swift disappearance was that I left over the quizzes being moved or constantly debated upon! As one can see, I do have a life, I am busy, and I am not so thin skinned that I would give such a notion any rent free space in my red head! :rofl: As I have always said folks, the internet and its contents are just "dots on a screen" and our private and personal lives should take command over the same. I so enjoy Spoofee and its personalities, but trust me, when the computer is shut off, the internet goes out of my head. Folks enjoy responding to what they want to respond to, it is just that simple! I liken Spoofee to a "family" and all families tiff and tattle over stuff, only to then sit down have dinner, and, drink a beer/soda!! I never had, nor do I now, hold any ill will or ill feelings towards anyone here. Shucks, at my age, I can't remember what I ate for dinner yesterday let alone who said what to whom! :tongue:
If I had wanted to say a fond farewell, I would be the first to post the same. It is just my luck to have gotten so dam busy and caught up in a THIRTY NINE HOUR Flight just into Sydney, then the flight on over to Perth!! It took me two days to stop asking my friend "Hey Phil, come here and pinch my ass to make sure I have underwear on today!" :rofl: So when I get on home, and get caught back up, I hope to remedy the missing profile, and avatar.....you guys know by now that I am not the sharpest knife in the drawer with this tech. stuff! I cannot seem to find avatars for shih tzu's and Jeb's big ole head can't be cut down to size! If any Spoofee member wants to send me avatars on Shih Tzu's keep them coming!
The Jeb update...he is a DEMON DOG, and is living up to his name! He turns four months old soon, needs to have surgery for having pinched nostrils so his breathing is off, and is one of the most independent animals I have ever come in contact with over the years. You know it is bad when Grandmom gets annoyed at a "Grandbaby!" Ouuuuuuuuu yeah, here comes Doggy Obedience Classes, I think April 11, if Jeb isn't the first dog to get thrown out of the class! To date, he ATE through two antique mahagony end table legs, one rocker rudder, two maple chair legs, and, knawed through a cocktail table leg as well: :verysad: Thank God, I bought him, me thinks he would be in some rescue shelter by now. We keep on teaching and trying. Don't know what I will find when I get home maybe just sticks where my house use to stand! Poor Grandmom! Me thinks I owe her dinner and some flowers!
Okay folks.....there is the MIA Ragnarok, lost and found! I would like to thank you all for the tender concern, and, kind thoughts, and, hope to be home by the beginning of the week. Will make a two night stop over in Sydney, then over to New Zealand, LA, Atlanta, then Baltimore. I highly recommend a trip to "Oz" (Australia) but be prepared to be pooped upon arrival. It is a country of many faces and designs, worth the money and time to get here. Don't be fooled by the "Socialized Medicine" concept. Tell you what, many a person here cannot get seen to get the medical care they need, sad really. Took one person three months to get an MRI, and, he has liver failure. As such, socialized medicine is not all it is cracked up to be. The paperwork and red tape are tough to navigate and cut through, thus, the independent clinic. I am struck by the number of children going without adequate health care and immunizations. There you my friends.....a NEW TOPIC for you all to discuss among yourselves....Socialized Medicine vs. Independent Practice and personal choice!
