I have this watch and love it!! Not a bad deal for 20 bucks.

You do have to pay monthly or you can pay yearly but it is worth it.

Ahh, they lowered the price even more. Wow.. I paid $30 plus shipping for mine.

yeah i was at frys and they still sell this model for over a 100 bucks

Anyone seen another watch like this lately? I was going to renew my wife's pager and saw this. Although that watch looks pretty huge. Thanks for any help.

Hey, the page that link goes to doesnt have the abacus on it, and when I search for abacus I only get the 99.00 PDA watch as a result..

May be expired or out of stck.

That's right. That's why I was asking if another deal is around for one. Thanks.

DEAD! OUT OF STOCK!

"sorry we could not find the product you ar elooking for"

Stay away from this watch. Yes, the features are great, and I like it, but there have been problems. I have one that shuts off every time it gets a slight jerk motion. It then turns back on and needs another 15-30 minutes to gather all its information again.

Annoying.

Battery life is good. But, after a long time wearing (almost a year) dirt has gathered in all parts of the watch, like a dusty dirt. Also, one side of the clip sort of broke, and it still works fine but it's really loose when it comes off now. That was the last straw, I don't wear mine anymore, and I don't plan on renewing it. Don't really have the extra $40 now anyway. Makes a great conversation piece though, many people were amused, but the shutting off was too much to ignore. I never got it warranty serviced.

At one point maybe a month ago, they had the newer version Abacus for $40 plus shipping I think. You'd be better off doing that one when it comes back, I think all the bugs have been fixed and it's a much nicer design.

Thats so weird, Erik. I remember you having those problems when we first got the watches, but Ive never experienced anything like that. Mine has worked fine since day one.

That's too bad. My wife is a nurse and needs a pager. She can't keep a cell phone as that's not allowed in the hospital. I mentioned this watch to her and she was ok with it as the cost will be close to the same as a pager. Erik sounds like you got a lemon. Thanks again.

Yeah, I think I did, but many other people have had the same problems.

I don't know what kept me from getting it replaced or something, I think I was too lazy.

Oh well, the style has worn off, it's actually pretty ugly now, and I'll go back to wearing my Fossil for the time being since I don't plan on renewing the service. Also, of course, Microsoft doesn't actually tell me when it's going to expire and I forget.

Also, another reason for me not renewing it is I just purchased satellite radio, and to curb my spending, this is one of the items that I'm dropping.
