Acer X223WD 22" Widescreen LCD Monitor for $108 Shipped

Most places have sales tax on top of this so dont forget to add that to your budget

Just so everyone is aware, this monitor only has a resolution of 1680 x 1050, so it won't display native 1080p (1920 x 1080) like most monitors sold these days. It also means that the aspect ratio is not as wide as a 1080p display, so HD video will appear with a band of unused screen on the top and bottom of the display. Finally, and obviously, there won't be as much desktop space as a 1920 x 1080 monitor. With the low prices on true 1080p monitors that have been on Spoofee recently (like the 24" Samsung for $165 shipped the other day), I wouldn't buy a new monitor with a lower resolution. After over a decade of monitors being sold with various screen resolutions at different price points, it seem as though 1920 x 1080 has pretty much become almost a standard for now, with the vast majority of new monitors being 1080p.
