I know of nothing that compares to that! How does it work? Definitely WOW.
 
So? How does it always get THE number divisible by 9 that I happened to come up with it. Maybe I'm just dense but I don't get it. Maybe I should ask LS.

I hope I'm not changing dbee's post to the "try figure out how the WOW works".
 
I have no clue how it works, but if someone can figure it out, that's great!
 
You're not dense, its just a math trick. There are lots of equations out there that give results like that. Math is a crazy pattern based subject.
 
Yup, numbers divisible by nine 9,18,27,36,45,54,63,72,81. You will always come up with one of those numbers no matter what 2-digit number you started out with. If you notice, look at the symbols represented by those numbers and you'll notice their all identical even though it swaps them out every time.
 
I tried '02' as my number. It didn't work.
 
I don't think that a 0 before a whole number, without a decimal, really "counts".
 
uhm. I don't understand that "WOW" part. They got my img mixed up with a random img.

The "next" one is even worse.
 
Ummmm... I don't get it... I did it three times and it didn't choose the right image any of the times. I choose the same number each time too and it gave me three different answers...

example the number 14 1+4=5 14-5=9 9 is the symbol that you look for


I figured it out with the help of monkfish. Every number answer is divisible by 9 and all numbers divisible by 9 have the same symbol. :doh:
 
Ahhhh, I finally got it. I didn't notice that the symbols on the last page moved around to be the "9" number. Finally I can sleep.
