Altec Lansing inMotion Portable Speakers for iPod Mini for $19.99 Shipped

This thing is a piece of junk. I wouldn't waste $1 on it.

Yo!

No idea where thay got a 4.5 rating on this POS. I too got screwed buying one. Avoid at all costs if it is the one in the picture.

Quit Cryin...

 Funny, I am using it now. I have had this for a year and a half now, without problems. If you are looking for a megawatt stereo, this is not it. If you have a job and like background music, this works fine.

So... you guys care to elaborate? What was so bad about this product? For only $20, I'm tempted to try it out. But if it's SUPER-TERRIBLE, then maybe not. Any additional information would be much appreciated! :teeth:

I'm kind of puzzled by the bad reviews, too. I have this set and love them. I use it around the house a lot so I can carry the iPod from room to room while I clean and listen to audio books. I also travel a lot for work and use it at the hotel for music, or as an external set of speakers when I watch movies on the laptop.

It sounds great for music, too. No, it's not going to reproduce sound at home theater levels, but I got mine a year and a half ago when they were on sale for $30, and even at that price it was a great deal. At $20 I'm considering getting a second set as a backup.

I'm also puzzled by the bad reviews. I bought one a few weeks back for $9.99 with google checkout and was so happy with it that recently bought 2 more for my folks.

Think of it this way, even for nothing else, that price is a great deal for charging your iPod.
