With all the money people save on this site, they could probably donate at least a few dollars to help, right? The Amazon one was easier for me to use (the CSM one had so many great organizations to have to choose from).

Thank you very much for posting this, Spoofee.

Yeah, it's well over 100,000 now. I think the last number I heard was 116,000. What a shame. :(

It's very unfortunate. When the count was 20,000, I was in shock. Now it's 118,000, don't know what to say.

i just made a donation via amazon cuz they have my cc# on file.

people, please take few bucks out of your pocket and help other people.

Hi Spoofee, Hope it's OK to post this here:
You can also donate to Unicef via Paypal
Your donation will go to provide food, blankets, shelter, medical care, and the many other services UNICEF provides to the tsunami disaster victims.

For those low on funds AuctionDrop has another way you can "donate":
Bring your used and new cameras, computers, consumer electronics, or other items into The UPS Store and AuctionDrop will sell them on eBay and donate 100% of the net proceeds* to CARE to benefit the victims of December 26th South Asian earthquake and tsunami.

This tragedy in south Asia is incomprehensible...it's just so awful and heart-breaking. The number of dead is over 135,000.
I am so touched, though, by how generous and selfless people have been about donating to this cause. People can be so good-hearted.

Penpen, thanks! It's good to know we can pay via paypal. Agreed with rxzcars, Amazon made it as easy as the 1-click buy to donate the money with our cc#/info.

I just made a small donation. It's the right thing to do.

Something free you can do to help the tsunami victims

Here's a little something we can also do to help the South Asian tsunami victims & others who are assisted by MercyCorps.

(This doesn't cost you a thing to do)

If you click on the button on thehungersite.com that says "Give Free Food. Click Here", then "your click on the "Give Free Food" button funds food for the hungry, paid for by site sponsors whose ads appear after you click and provided to people in need around the world through the efforts of Mercy Corps and America's Second Harvest". :)

ps there are some other organizations (thebreastcancersite.com, thechildhealthsite.com, theanimalrescuesite.com, theliteracysite.com, & therainforestsite.com) that can be helped by clicking on their "click here" buttons - this is also free to do). :D Thanks everyone :D
