That is the link to the game. You are required to download an 800meg file which will install the game client. Then you will need to install some patches... this process can take some time if you are on a slower connection or have a slower computer. With my cable modem it took me about 30 minutes to download the client and another 30 or so to get it all patched up.
Once you are done with the client you can select to create a new account. Just enter all the information requested and when it gets to billing methods there will be an option to not enter any billing information.
What is provided in the client:
1. Client program to connect to the game
2. Notum Upgrade for additional areas.
Do not download the large client at 1.4gigs as you will have to pay a monthly fee to use it.
This offer is good until January 15th, 2006 but can be revoked at any time if they feel they are losing money, however they have already been doing it for 6 months and they extended it so I believe they are going to keep it.
The way they make money is through ingame billboard advertisments which are actualy pretty crafty, they make it so that it blends in with the game and isn't IN YOUR FACE. All in all I think it's a phenominal offer.
If you do decide to sign up look me up I'm on the RK1 server and my ingame name is "Direct Revolt" my AIM is also the same.
