Any iPod Deals Lately?

A good friend of mine wants to get an iPod, so I said I would find a deal for her. If anyone sees an iPod deal, let me know. She doesn't need massive storage space so the 10GB would do, but the 20GB would be nice. Anything would be nice if it's on a good sale, I'm just trying to save her some money. She would probably want the Windows version.

Right there w/ya

While it's difficult to come across a good deal on a 1st or 2nd generation iPod, it seems all but impossible to come across one for a 3rd generation (which is definitely what I'm wanting). If you are a student, K-12 or university, you get a discount at the Apple store online. I believe it's $40, which isn't too bad since they have free shipping as well. In fact, that's about the best deal I've been able to find for a 3gen iPod.

P.S. Dunno if it interests you at all, but it seems that the Apple Store also has two-line laser engraving available for $5 for a limited time (it's usually $19).

I'll let her know about the education deal. She would definitely want the 3rd generation, it seems stupid to have her parents buy her a birthday gift iPod which is already out of date.

I guess that if the education trims off some cash, not at bad deal. We all are students so it would be fine. Thanks!
