anyone got a puppy / dog?

i have a 6 month of maltese and having dental problems, none of his baby canines has fallen out!!! :confused:

so what should I do, should i keep getting him chew toys and wait for it to fall out, or should i get him to a vet and get those 4 babies out???

Also if anyone has any clue, how much does this usually cost.

is he really in pain? if he's showing signs of distress, then definitely go to the vet. Otherwise, I think I would let nature make them come out? However, I really don't know anything about puppy teeth.
 
Just my two cents about vets if you do not have one yet...

Many vets (at least in my area) are very high profile and everyone uses them because they are in a rich neighborhood and they are well known (my area is like that) and they are truly a ripoff. I go to a guy a little farther away who has a great degree and is very reasonable. We've been very happy with him for both our passed away cat and our new dog. Make sure to call 8 or so vets if you can, chances are their prices will vary greatly, just be sure to check out the doctor's medical background to make sure that he/she knows what they're talking about.
 
I agree Erik, I have a fabulous vet at a very reasonable price.
 
thanks all. i'll be checking with the vet, although i checked his front 4 canines and it seems they are all stiff, not loose at all. bad news ?
