I have one of the 1200s. Despite it being very ugly, with no lcd screen on it, you CANNOT expect anything better than the price. I have some 200+ svcds, and I am yet to have it not play any of them.

I've also heard many good things about this player. It plays ANY format pretty much and it's pretty reliable, considering it's cheap components. My friend needs a cheap DVD player desperately so this should really help him out. Thanks for posting the deal!
