Online as well. Some sites (e.g. AcacemicSuperstore.com) specifically sell items only to those with an affiliation to an academic institution (e.g. students, school administrators & teachers).

After you've placed your order, they allow you to email or fax in proof of your eligibility (e.g. a copy of your student ID) to receive a discount.

ps Frequently, your student ID is your SSN.

oh ok I just found that website and saw the educational discount thing. So would it be enough to take a picture of my student ID and email it to them? I just graduated in 2004 so im not in school anymore.. but its close
