Highly doubt that bluetooth can be used for internet browsing.

The iTouch has nothing to do with AT&T, it's the iPhone you're thinking of.

While it appears you're right, and that the only way to access the internet is with WiFi, the Nokia 770 and 880 internet tablets, for example, allow internet access through both WiFi and via bluetooth enabled phones. The tablet connects to the phone via bluetooth, which acts as a bridge to the internet. So it wasn't really an unreasonable question, just that the ipod touch doesn't feature bluetooth connectivity, as far as I can tell.

Well that's Apple for ya. They cripple stuff like that.

I was going to get an iPhone but I will keep my money and get a Windows Mobile device. My previous Windows Mobile device let me use my phone as an internet connector via Bluetooth...

I love Apple products, they are simple and effective for the general masses...but if you're a power user like me, you won't like it.

iPod touch looks sweet though, no doubt about it.

Well that's Apple for ya. They cripple stuff like that.

That's really been Apple's MO for years. Their computers and now their consumer devices are intended for the "lay" users. Not that it's a bad thing... just that Apple products aren't known for their ability to be customized and/or "hacked". Very proprietary in terms of hardward and software.

Don't hold me to this, but I think it's September 30th. There's a link to a coupon in the "Coupons" tab that's for 10% off, and I believe that's what this coupon is ($30 off $300, $20 off $200).
