:cussing: I was forced to resign from my part-time job today! I failed an internal alcohol audit by selling alcohol to an underage employee posing as a customer - or, what I'd like to call an undercover "sting" operation  Automatic termination or resignation so I took the latter because it was the lesser of two evils. Geez! I usually pass these things but the kid looked of age and, in fact, was 20 years old! :ohwell: I guess I should be relieved, though, that it wasn't a State bust or I'd really be up poops creek :fish2:.
Any jobs available @ Spoofee? :teeth: Thanks for reading ...

I'm sorry! I know my hubby went to court on one of these charges and got it dropped because the store was busy, and 2 people waited on the sting guy and they were confused and one thought the other checked his ID, and anyway out of the confusion, they got it dropped, I remember working when I had to ID people, I always hated it, I id'd a 54 year old man once though, he really liked me, LOL!

 I did the same but the guy was 45 - his wife was beside herself, I thought she was gonna hyperventilate from laughing so hard! Well, it's nice to know that I'm not the only one this has happened to here...Whether or not I get it is another story but I'm going to file for unemployment claiming an "involuntary seperation". Hope it works - oss your fingers for me everybody!

At one of the local grocery stores where I used to work, they ID everyone...absolutely, regardless of what age they look. I was behind this guy who was (I'm guessing) in his 70's and they held up the line so he could go out to his car and grab his ID. He was a bit irritated by the situation. Sorry about your job though. :(

I just went into the store on friday to buy cigs. Ok im 27 and I get Id'd here n there but I always have it out. Well she looks at it and then asks me to take it out and was like sorry I cant sell these to you....i thought she was screwing with me....I asked her WHAT?!?! WHY?? and she goes your license is EXPIRED LOL I was SHOCKED it expired on my birthday Aug 4. So i have been driving without a license JUST PEACHY....i told her I thought they sent you a letter when that happens LMAO....
Good luck with your job ventures....that really stinks...I must say it shouldnt be the employees they target...

Try putting your resume up on Monster Job.com and Career Builder.com There may be an added "s" somewhere in there, you can google it. Isn't it always the way when we become the most distracted it is when we muss up. Here's hoping the situation resolves to your benefit and quickly. Good luck.

:wof:You can try Direct TV, they have 3 weeks training and you can work from home, must have a land line and a computer though. There are always ads for CSR's in the paper and we live in a small town. They pay over $10 not sure what the training pay is though. Make sure on the application you have a lot of experience on the computer and if you can read a script and do some troubleshooting you are good to go!!:wof:

If you like to surf the web between calls and sit down in the air conditioning all day this is the job for you. Some stay home moms do this job as well, so the day care does not get all the money you earned for working.
