ASUS V9999 ULTRA /2DT GeForce 6800Ultra 256MB DDR3 TV/2DVI AGP for $139 + s&h

From JHJ over at **********

Asus 6800

I just ordered mine 152 with shipping.

Seller does not have that great of a reputation.

Yeah, probably a price error. I wish I had funds in my bank account. Just had to make a $165 purchase of networking equipment for a client of mine, and I have to cash my rebate checks. That Dell Dimension 3000 with 17" LCD set me back just a little. ;)

Thousands have already ordered.

Don't event bother.
The deal is dead.

Why do you say that? I just checked and you can still order it. Of course I don't need a vid card myself.

Been posted in other forums where thousands of people have already ordered.

They don't even have the item in stock despite what the page says.
Notice how there is no description on the product page?
Try finding the item using their website.
Only the posted link gets to that product page.

yeah, im gonna take my chances and buy one. worse comes to worse, they'll just cancel the order. amazing deal if it goes through though.

just so people vieweing this thread know - i put an order on one of these sunday night around 9pm. Called customer service this morning - after 20 minutes of being on hold i was informed that it was indeed a pricing error and that they'd be refunding and canceling all orders for the card. :'(

Oh well - I tried

That's got to be one of the worst-written letters I've ever read from a business LOL

you called!

Unbelievable, isn't it?
Not to be rude, but some people can be just plain stupid.

How is calling going to help anyone but cement the ruin of everything?
/me shakes head...

don't be so harsh guys, i doubt that one person calling is seriously the only thing that made the company realize their mistake. if thousands of people put an order in for a $150 graphics card one random day, i think i'd take a closer look at it to make sure everything was ok (like make sure someone didn't mistakenly change the price to go down $500) before i began shipping them. i can guarantee you, guys, that it wasn't the caller that closed this deal for you.

No, it was the sites like this one that tell everyone about pricing mistakes, thus drawing attention to them because of the flood of orders! ;) But if sites like this didn't exist, only a handfull of people would benefit from good deals. Bottom line is, you win some you lose some.
