If you are interested in your child taking Drivers Ed Online, I highly recommend www.teendrivingcourse.com .

Of all the research I have done, the price is on par, but they actually offer free videos and animations. It's a great site!

Type in REF00804C for a $5 discount!!!

thanks for the link, rockstar. i won't need it for a few years (thank GOD!), but i have a few friends who will appreciate the info. i remember when driver's ed was free... sheesh... that was back when i had to practice for hours parallel parking my brontosaurus :p

I took driver's ed in high school in '86 or '87. The price was about $125. I remember going to the DPS to try to get my actual license. HINT: Never try to get your license using a Chevy Suburban. I used my mom's and aced the parallel parking. I passed getting my license with a 70 though. :o

Good enough for me.

i heard you don't have to parallel park anymore to get your license! the only thing i didn't do right on my drive test was crossing my arms when i turned the steering wheel.. i just wasn't used to driving with both hands on the wheel ;)

Fond memories of torturing my driver's ed instructor.........Hehe......:p

one of the girls in the car was so awful, the instructor had to use his brake 3 times!! he finally had her get out and asked me to drive us back to the school!!

i still tell everyone "i'm an excellent driver"

I heard about that parallel parking thing, I guess there's not much parallel parking going on nowadays.
I completely forgot about that hand over hand when turning. It is so much easier using that round ball on the steering wheel. LOL

In KY you still have to, but there is one car in front of you, and nothing behind you

BB video stores used to have a drivers education course for $39 per week. My store tossed out their machines. I got one. But requires a reg code.

Haha, well Driver's Ed in class is now even more than Online! I gues $65 is ok, not as good as free though ! I also believe that there is no parallel parking anymore. It's so easy to get a license nowadays, it's ridiculous.
