Hey there,

Check out the Harman Kardon Store on Ebay. They have some kick butt deals on receivers and it's the official referb store. All the stuff is referb, but they have excellent warranties.

As a sample they have a Harman Kardon AVR 8000 7.1-Channel Receiver THX Dolby that is currently @ $860.00.

$860 for referbished, thats still insane for a receiver. :hmm:

Not really Harman Kardon is high end home audio receivers and equipment. Amazon.com has the AVR 8000 new for $2,499.99. My friend has a Harman Kardon setup @ his house. Him and his wife rarely go out to moves because the sound quality is just as good or better than @ the movies. It doesnt hurt that they also have a 60" TV lol.

I just checked the ebay site for the warranty on the units. Reverb receivers have a 2 year warranty from Harman Karon.
