multiple coupons not working online for me

i got the black chair today. However, I was disappointed that i couldn't combine the coupons to get the free roller duffle bag.

The chair and the $20 off $75 coupon code worked just fine. However, adding the roller duffle bag and the coupon code for a free roller duffle bag (for purchases over $50) did not work out. At checkout, it would always error and state that my purchase was only currently at $29. Adding more items didn't make anything better.

I called online customer service and they called the use of multiple coupons "Coupon Abuse". She even referenced "coupon sites", but didn't specify any particular site. She said that officedepot probably set up the online site so it would not accept the use of multiple coupons. She also said that this is prevented in-store because store employees will require bringing in a real coupon, which doesn't necessarily exist for these online coupons.

I asked the support if officedepot states anywhere on their site that the use of multiple coupons is not allowed. She said no. Something is missing here.

Anyhow, the chair is a great deal. I hope it really is a deal.
