Be careful: Mach Speed's rebate is ripping off

This company is cheating. I had a very bad experience on their SD128M rebate. They played a trick on the Serial Number of their own product, and this SN number is required by the rebate process. And They didn't give contact phone number. They didn't give updated status information to customer. After a long long time, when customer go to their website http://www.machspeed.com/rebatestatuscheck.htm and open a ticket, they told you the rebate was denied.

Then I realized the SN number was wrong, and I find the correct one again. After I submit the correct SN number, they don't response any more.
It's been more than 8 months now.

I went through the exact same thing. Mine came with a double rebates offer. I submitted mine back in Jan'06. I may just give up on my rebates and will never buy from them again.

I've the same rebate issue with Mach Speed Rebate Jan 2006. They've denied receive my rebate material. They're getting so "popular" not to honor debate. Just do a search with any search engine with "Mach Speed rebate problem".

Mach Speed-Rebates are a joke

Mach Speed will never send you a rebate. So if you sent one in you'll probably never see it. I bought an SD card with a $40.00 rebate and had not received it after 10 weeks, so I contacted them and they said they could not give me any information until the rebate processing period was over. I kept contacting them, and kept getting the same answer. Finally they told me they could not find my rebate, and since the processing period was over, they would not accept any re-submissions. I informed them I had copies of everything, but Mach Speed basically to me to stick them. This classic "catch 22". They tell you they cannot do anything until processing is done, but won't accept anything after processing. I would encourage anybody with this same issue to report it to the Better Business Bureau. DO NOT buy anything from Mach Speed at any cost. Companies with business practices like this should not be in business. :thumbs_do
