After signing up for this offer, I received an email message that said this:

"To help us select the right flooring samples for you, please take a moment and tell us about the sub-floor in your home. Do you intend to install your floor over lumber or concrete? This is critically important, as certain types of flooring work better over concrete than others. Please let us know by e-mail, [email protected], or call us toll free at (877) 693-9663. We will not ship your FREE Sample Kit until we hear from you!"

So I think they're on to us. :-P

Yeah, I got the same thing. I don't know why they would need to know the type of sub-floor, but I will find out the answer. My father-in-law installs flooring for a living; he'll know if it makes a difference.

Don't resond to this unless you want to receive an email follow-up and numerous phone calls from them asking you the same questions that you already answered via their web site and from replying to their email. I spoke with a very rude person there today to discuss why they keep calling me only to be told that this is the way they do business. If a company is that desperate for customers and they don't care what others say about them (even potential new customers) then they can keep their free samples.
