I don't belkin's rebate.....

They really take forever.....it took 9 weeks to receive mine last time.

The router is great though :)

This specific router is known to have unresolved packet loss problems. This means your internet speed slows down to ZIP and you have to wait for it to come back or reboot the router. I own them and they are sitting in the closet due to this.

FYI, If you also buy the laptop card for $50 (before tax), you get an additional $45 in rebates ($20 Circut City and $25 Belkin).

I've got two of these. They seem to work fine with the latest firmware.

You can use this coupon code for $10.00 off $75.00 through Wednesday, JHAF8G2AW2,

thanks!

hi cdman!

Welcome to Spoofee.com & thanks for your post!

Say, is this coupon a single-use coupon (valid for one-time use by only one lucky customer), or is it able to be used to all (er, that is to say once per each customer).

thanks again! :)

it says mine is the latest firmware that came with it? yet on the site it says that is the european (english) one? the one you have above is .3 where the one mine has is .5

which is the better or right one? shouldn't I have north america?

Penpen, I don't know it came in an email from Circuit City. I used it already. It doesn't say anything about it only being usable one time though. It says to just enter it at checkout.

I would stick with the highest revision number (.5) even if it isn't the North America release.

Perhaps that's why they're offering the rebates.. they had a flood of unsold stock intended for European release..

I wouldn't be surprised; Best Buy recently finished a (now expired) run of the same rebate amounts.

Is this the same router that was discussed in the thread titled "Belkin Wireless 802.11G Router for Free + Make $3.01 Shipped After Rebate" on December 21st?

Two issues:
(1) I'm still waiting on the $30 Belkin rebate, although www.rebatestatus.com tells me the rebate was mailed on 31 March. The $20 Circuit City rebate arrived about 10 days after I called them to inquire about it on or about 31 March.
(2) I'm using the router at my parents' house while staying there on vacation, since they only have a wired router hooked to their DSL. I haven't had a lot of performance issues with it -- but I definitely have read a lot of negative comments regarding performance. I'll leave it to you to check the comprehemsive technical discussion on the previous thread.

just picked up the router and it was a bad unit. Plugged it in and the power light didn't come on. However, the link lights came on for attached devices but instead of green they were amber. Tech support had me try a few things and then said "it's bad, I'd take it back to the store if I were you". oh well. I'll get another one and give it a shot.

I have one and I love it, but I will be straight honest in that I had 2 bad units before I got this one!!! Belkin should really do something with thier quality checks! They have wonderful coustomer care and tech support, but the quaity of products on routers.... I did have to wait like 4 months for my rebate to come though...
