I am curious and want like you input.

In your opion, which is the best place to buy groceries? I'm sure it may be different depending on your neck of the woods.

Some mentioned that Albertsons has high prices. I like them because they take anybody's coupons.

Well, if we are taking price, Wal-Mart is the cheapest place for sure. Their prices are usually cheaper than other places that double coupons. If you are talking "customer-friendly", then the new Prototype from Food Lion called "Bloom" is the best. They have a scanner you can use throughout the store (like a registry) so you can keep track of your total.

" Personal scanner
Some of our stores feature the Bloom Personal Scanner, a cool tool that lets you check prices, keep track of your total grocery bill and bag your groceries while you shop. So when you're done shopping, all you have to do is pay and go. For more information on how it works, click here. To download a sign-up form, click here. "

Their website is www.shopbloom.com. The nicest grocery store in this area is Harris Teeter, but their prices are usually high. I do go there if I have a $5 off $50 coupon or when they have triple coupons though (because their limit is face value 99 cnts).

I also really liked Wegman's in Western new York when I lived there.

... and they take EXPIRED coupons!

My sister works at Jewel and from what she tells me is that they ship all the coupons to one central place for the entire Albertson's network where the coupons are processed. They have such buying pull that the reimbursers don't argue about the expiration dates.

In my area Kroger's has the lower prices, with the Plus Card

Wal-Mart always has lowest prices

Foodland has higher prices, but they give you discount on gas
