I used to work at best buy and with my discount I bought hundreds of DVD's. Many of them simply to own, and many of them I had not even seen yet so I didn't even know if they were good or not. It got to a point where I bought the movie "Taxi" with Jimmy Fallon and Queen Latifah which I had not seen, and had not heard good things about. It was then I vowed to never buy DVD's again, unless I absolutely LOVED the movie and will undoubtedly watch again. Buying DVD's is addicting. And at $4.99, Best Buy would be what psychologists call the "enabler".

Yes, I agree that it can be addictive, and I recently started a collection. Most of the movies I have are ones I really like, but I have about 4 or 5 I haven't opened, thoyugh I have seen them. And I have seen bits and pieces of Taxi on HBO. Horrible.
