Biography of Sir Winston Churchill

try code: THC
TEACHERS: Request this Free Biography of Sir Winston Churchill for your Library (offer good while supplies last)

Do you need an attractive ready reference about Churchill? Do your high school students need an accessible source of information about Churchill for class assignments or research papers?
If your curriculum includes Churchill, The Churchill Centre (www.winstonchurchill.org) is offering, upon request, a free copy of "Churchill", a well-reviewed book (click on link to the left) about the great statesman and war leader, to your school library.

Written by his granddaughter, Ms. Celia Sandys, distinguished author of many books and world traveler, and published in England to accompany the 3-hour PBS program aired in the U.S. in October 2003, this heavily-illustrated, 160-page hardback book provides an excellent introduction and overview to the great man's life and times.

Teachers should complete the form below in order to have a free copy sent to their library. NOTE: Offer limited to Middle and High School teachers and school or municipal libraries in the U.S. and Canada. We apologize that we cannot extend this offer beyond North America. Copies will ONLY be sent to a library at a recognized educational institution or to a town or municipal library, and only one copy per library. The purpose of this program is to assist middle and high school teachers in educating students about the many contributions that Sir Winston Churchill made to the world during his long life that spanned from the Victorian age to the Space age.

hi teachK,

welcome to Spoofee.com!

i believe that the code is THC

i called the toll-free number for this offer, 1-888-972-1874, and tried to get them to confirm, but they could only say that the required code has been featured in teachers' resource materials/publications, and should be found easily in any of those.

hope this helps! penpen

Thanks Penpal!
I will look through all the junk mags on my desk if that one doesn't work.
