If you are a current Blockbuster member, you may be able to save a few bucks.

1. Go to blockbuster.com
2. Log in and click on My Account
3. On the left side next to "Subscription Plan", you should see an option to Cancel
4. You get a list of reasons on why you are cancelling and check off "I'm trying to cut my expense" and click Next Step
5. They will offer you the same plans for a $1 or $2 less for the next 3-6 months.
 
You can also do the same on gamefly, except I think they only drop the price a few dollars for your next month.
 
This will only work once. I did this 6 months ago and was offered a better deal but the next time around they didn't offer it.

for the people who got the $2 off, what was your plan? I did get a $1 off for 3 months for the 1 dvd unlimited plan.

hm i think it worked? it said my current plan is 17.99 and told me i can change my plan to 15.99. so i clicked on that and then it said, your new plan is now 17.99? not sure what happened.

i canceled my gamefly and they sent me a thing in the mail to let me resign up 14.99 for the first month only.
 
Well I saved a Dollar. So thats something! :)
 
I did this and got the same message as the person above about my new plan being $17.99, thinking I messed up I hit back and refreshed and got the 50% off for 2 months! Thanks!!!!!
 
Thats odd...I got 50% off for a 2DVD Unlimited Plan ($14.99).
So now I am being charged $7.50 for 2 months :)

i saw that one too, but i believe that one you cannot take the movies back to a store, you have to mail them in.
 
If you have already changed your plan i suggest cancelling and resubscribing then doing this trick again because if you refresh the page you can get 50% off for 2 months then after the 2 months who knows it might work again
 
This isn't a deal, you guys are just cheap.
