So this 16 year old buys Halo 3 (which is rated M for Mature) from a retailer then is upset when his dad locks it up? And to shoot his father, and then mother (killing her), and then attempting to blame her death on the father is absolutely absurd. Wow, what a retard.

diGriz, I'd support the Needler in this case.
 
note to self - never take video games from your kid - if you want to live longer

Had my child bought the game, I would have just destroyed it, forget keeping it in a lockbox! And keeping a gun around a child of any age is just not smart! It was in a lockbox anyway, it served no purpose in protection as it was not readily available, no reason for it to be there, not defending the boy at all either, he has some serious mental issues if he can shoot and kill his mom and wound his father like that over a video game, he needs help!
 
lol... i dont know why a 16yr old could even use Halo 3 as an excuse to kill his parents... I can see if it was a 8yr old or younger then 12 but really at 16 you should really know right from wrong and if he doesnt then the parents should have even bought him a xbox... halo 3 isnt as bad as other games out there so at least us a better game for an excuse!!!

Oh please! Just ask the psychiatrists, they'll explain it to you. It has NOTHING to do with the boy. It's all part of all of our soulless basic animal "instinct".




Did I ever mention how I believe ALL the ills of today are because of the psychiatrist (developed, trained and brought to you by Adolph's Nazis to control the masses). Until it's recognized and handled it's only going to get worse.

While you do come across a 'bad seed' every now and then....it can be intensified by over bearing/over controlling parents.....plus the kid was sick, isolated and home bound for a while.....throw it all into the mixer....:noidea:

On the other hand I raised two children and never struck either of them and I'm still alive (sort of).

I'm sure that the Federal Reserve and the International Bank would have respectfully disagreed had someone said there was something wrong with the "money lenders" until a couple of months ago. Unfortunately it takes a melt down of the system before it can be "seen" that something is wrong.

I do agree with some of this statement. They put kids on antidepressants now knowing thoughts of suicide is one of the side effects. I wonder what else these drugs have caused kids to do. I don't know if this kid was on antidepressants or not but I wonder how much violence these drugs are responsible for. I'm not saying that some kids don't need these drugs but they do have side effects and we have to think about the consequences. :unsure:
 
Exactly Sharon. I remember when LSD was legal and the "wonder drug" of the Psychiatrist. One of it's side effects was possible suicide but this seems to have been objected to at the time. Skip ahead a few decades and somehow the new drugs result in more suicides but the general population to somehow think it's OK. Brainwashed?
I wouldn't be surprised to learn the Halo 3 killer was under psychiatric "care" and psychiatric drugs for quite some time. Somehow they (the Psychs and the drug companies) have developed a cloak of invisibility (and respectability).
