Braun 8985 360 Complete Dry Shaver for $116.26 Shipped

My husband has owned three Braun Shavers...

We got him a Norelco for Christmas.

I can't recommend Braun any longer...
 
Well, just to give the other side of the coin, I own this shaver and have for the past 1.5 years. It is the ONLY electric shaver I can use without ripping my neck to shreds. It is extremely convenient with the auto-clean base and I would highly recommend trying it out if you have had problems with norelco-type heads in the past.
 
My brother used to have a Braun 8500, but after that one died he now has a Braun 9585. He swears by it, but I've tried it twice and it misses alot of spots. I still go with the Mach3 razor, and a Braun travel shaver ($15 on amazon) for the mustache area. I swear, the travel shaver is as good as the expensive ones, minus the self-cleaning system. The major reliability issues are also a concern.
 
That's alot of money just for a shaver. I use a norelco, cost me 50 bucks and it works fine.
