i was just curious if any other parents are experiencing what i am. i took my kiddos out to target for our normal weekly run and walked them through the toy section to:
a. torture them
b. see what they want for christmas
so anyway, we get to the bratz and the polly pocket and fur real and doodle bear and all these other ugly toys and the girls of course want them all. so then, we get to the barbie aisle, which is mostly "my scene" now, but there were still quite a few barbies. anyway, my girls had NO INTEREST in any of them. when i was a girl, barbie was all i wanted- any and every type in every outfit imaginable. what happened to barbie's popularity? why is it that my girls want dolls with disproportionately large heads rather than disproportionate other parts
seriously, though, do any of you have kids who like barbie, or am i going to have to accept that discussing what i played with as a little girl is now officially a part of the "good ol' days"???
