I don't know why the C-Net reviews were mediocre. We've owned this little printer for months, and this is a screaming deal. It works great, and we are still working from the included smaller toner cartridge. Very economical to operate and works on our in-home network with our Macs.

I like it too...

I bought this printer for my folks to use with their first computer, and while they only use the USB port, for under $100 with a network print server it was too good a deal to pass up! At $80, if you have any need for a basic B&W laser printer, this is a great deal! Nice, small size and the printing is quick and nice.
