browser crash

I'm also on a Mac, G3 to be exact and I tried looking at the main logo thread with Safari and didn't have any any problems. I also use firefox and it doesn't have any problems.

What computer do you have, how much ram, what os version?

I also moved your post to it's own thread.

This happened on both my 1GHz Titanium Powerbook 768MB (10.3.4) and on my MDD Dual 1.25 GHz 1.75GB (10.3.5). I've never had much trouble with Safari crashing, but it did also crash IE, so it seems a more general problem. The crash always occurs while scrolling.

IE is pretty much obsolete for the Mac. Microsoft hasn't updated IE is ages. I'm not sure what to say about Safari crashing I tried it on my machine and it seems to work ok w/o crashing. Does it do it on a specific page on that thread? There are three pages to it. I'm running on a G3 w/ 10.3.8.

Are you on cable/dsl or dialup? I'm guessing you have tried to reboot your machine.

I am a big Firefox nut for the PC, but I prefer Safari when it comes to the Mac.

I NEVER use IE, just wanted to see if it would crash. It did. I'm on Cable internet. Erik: have you tried scrolling through the logo thread in Safari? Anyone?

I tried Safari, IE, and Firefox and didn't have any of them crash on me.

Odd. I guess it'll remain a mystery. Much like this forum (where does this thread live? I can only access it by going through my user name and showing threads started by me).

I moved this thread to the "Discuss Spoofee.com" section. :)

Thanks, Spoofee... too much work that way. Any reason that 768 megs of RAM and an otherwise trouble-free system ought to encounter difficulty on this single thread? A mystery.
