If you are into modding your router, this router can run third party firmware DD-WRT. I prefer the Buffalo WHR-HP-G54 or the Linksys WRT56GL for moding though.

I can't stand how often times stock firmware never gets updated, so I only get routers that can use third party firmware now. At least someone is addressing problems then.
