It is nothing at all to install, alot of coupon places require you to install this. :)

installing is so scary ..

I dont like installing this software... There really is no legitimate reason for them to require it other than if its spyware or adware.

Can anyone just attach an image of the coupon or something?

Clear your cookies after a printout and print as many as you want! :)

ENJOY SPOOFEERS!!!

Thanks very much. I would never frequent a merchant who makes you download some lousy software just to print their coupon. The other poster is right . . . just an excuse for spyware.

The reasons they give about how "safe" their "Coupon Printer" is;

The Coupon Printer does not gather or ask for any personal information about you or your computer.
* The Coupon Printer does not report any information about your Internet use. It is only used for coupon printing.

It Is Secure

* The Coupon Printer is an industry-standard ActiveX control or Internet Plugin.
* The Coupon Printer provides security features that are needed to provide you with a real coupon you can use in a store.
* The Coupon Printer provides encryption to make sure that your privacy is protected.

It Is Trusted

* The Coupon Printer is provided by Coupons, Inc., the industry leader in secure online coupon promotions.
* Coupons, Inc. is our trusted partner, and provides services to many large companies.

I don't read where it says, in effect, this won't leave a tracking cookie and some other program isn't going to report your internet use. The notion of a "Printer Coupon" makes little sense unless it is doing something else too, otherwise there is no reason for it. It costs money to develope that kind of stuff so it isn't done for no good reason.

I use Linux and Linux won't even let me install this kind of stuff. If someone who uses Internet Explorer would first wipe their cookies and then run AdawareSE AND
Spybot S&D so everything was squeeky clean and THEN install the "coupon printer" and repeat the cleaning process I think they would find something new. It could be revealing one way or the other.

expiration dates

Yeah, but the Mountain Dew one expires in just a few days. The other one (that this post is about) expires in a month.

Just print it on your work PC, and let them deal with the spyware. ;-)

The coupon's gotta be less than $2 worth.. the chance of a spyware fcuking up my system (even if i have spywares/adaware, etc) isn't worth $2. I'll stick with the one that ends by the end of July.

Actually, I have done this before for this reason. Smartsource uses the same program. I chcked my pc with MS Anti-spyware, ad-aware, spybot and AOL Spywarre protection and found nothing. It would have to be hidden pretty good to not be deteced by any of those programs if there is adware with it.

and that attitude right there is the reason why we lock pcs down at my work.

There is absolutely no reason they should require you install this other than to add some sort of malware to your system. If reputable spy sweeper software doesn't detect anything, then they're probably using a rootkit. :(
