ah, love these deals...can't beat FAR's...thanks spoofee

According to reviews on Amazon, this software is complete garbage. The thumbdrive on the other hand wouldn't be too bad to have. I never do rebate offers though.

Expired

Offer's Expired. They can't get them from the manufacturer, supposedly, even though other vendors (Amazon) seem to be having no trouble...Shame the rebate's vendor-specific.

I have the CA Internet Security Suite and it's really good. It doesn't take a lot of memory which is a plus.

Do it, toss the software, and enjoy your drive that was free after rebate.

beware CA Internet

:mmph: I purchased a CA Internet Security software from Circuit City last year and CA refused to honor the rebate after repeated tries.BEWARE!!

Re: Expired?

It looks like this expires in august...why is Godai-kun saying it's expired now? I'm still interested in this, but not to spend $55 unnecessarily.

Thanks!

man, i just received it today...it looks like a piece of crap...I was thinking the flash drive they were giving would be like my other flash drives like the size and shape of the sandisk micro cruzer or kingston traveller...but this is just crap...they force you to use some block shaped plastic that has the internet security logo on it, that's the size of a credit card, although it seems to think to fit in your waller...and the actual flash drive itself looks so puny that it looks too sensitive to hold and carry around...just looks real amateurish...and to think that I actually paid for this...well, even with the rebate, it's the cost of sales tax, which was 4 bucks, a 39 cent stamp, and having to worry and wait around to get my 55 bucks back over the next 2 months...

Just a big disappointment...and the darn casing that they used made it insanely hard to cut around to get the upc code to mail out since they used some tough plastic coating all around their box, like they lamented the carton box cover
