Worked for me. I wonder if you're misreading Spoofee the way I intially did too. The "~$17.00" is NOT being claimed as the final price, that's just the shipping. Spoofee should have placed that part in quotes to avoid confusion.

$17.00 for shipping kills the deal for me.

I agree the shipping is high, but the total price is still really good for this printer and the DVD player. I found a free shipping coupon, but it didn't work. If anyone has any coupons for newegg please share. :)

$32 AR for the printer alone is a crazy price!

I would pounce on this even though I have an iP4000 if I were in the States.

Pixma printers are seriously incredible

These days its cheaper to keep buying new printers every time the ink cartridge runs out. A set of BW and color ink cartridges could easily cost $60-70.
 
True, but the fact is you don't know how much ink is really in those carts.

You can get carts for about $1.25 on ebay.
