Carfax Report for $1.50 Each Until February 28th

Damnit! I just got thru buying a new car.. Hmm... Does Carfax do pre '80 vehicles?? :hmm:

I would not put alot of trust in Carfax. I know several people, including myself who have tried it on different cars that were known to have been totalled, major flood damage, or had been stolen and recovered. Every car we searched came up with a clean history, 6-8 mos. after the fact.

You're right. I just looked up "Buyer's Buyback Guarantee" on Car Fax's site and it states

"If the CARFAX Report for the used vehicle you buy misses any of these DMV-reported problems then CARFAX will buy back your vehicle at your full purchase price...GUARANTEED!"

I guess that "DMV-reported" is the little trick word.

DMV only requires reporting if an amount of a incident is more than $750.
