CDs for art project

Does anyone know how I can get 200-600 cds to use in making a decoration for a event that takes place on Sept 18th....they don't have to be working CD's since we are going to be covering with a picture....just need to be free or near free

Have you tried asking for help on your local freecycle.org site? ... or maybe you can call one of the companies that send out the free cds, like AOL or PeoplePC. Wal-Mart might be another good one, I see free discs in there all the time. Tell them that you will give them credit for the donation and they might just send them to you. Hope that helps you out some. Good luck.

I say go into the retailers like Wal-Mart, CompUSA, Best Buy, etc that have the AOL discs free for the taking, and take them. All of them. Youll have most of what you need in just a few days.

That's how I got mine. I did a thing on my wall where I used like 50 disks.
