“Game”: 2007 Dr Pepper/Chick-fil-A Forty Winners Football “Championship Challenge” Game
“Game Period”: On or about 12:01 am (Central Time) October 9, 2007 through 11:59 pm (Central Time) November 17, 2007.
“Grand Prize Games”:
2007 ACC Championship Game (the “Championship Game”) in Jacksonville, FL (“Game Location”) at Jacksonville Municipal Stadium (the “Game Site”)
2007 Big 12 Championship Game (the “Championship Game”) in San Antonio, TX (“Game Location”) at the Alamo Dome (the “Game Site”)
2007 SEC Championship Game (the “Championship Game”) in Atlanta, GA (“Game Location”) at the Georgia Dome (the “Game Site”)
“Grand Prize Game Date”: December 1, 2007
“Sponsors”: Chick-fil-A, Inc., 5200 Buffington Road, Atlanta, GA 30349; and Dr Pepper/Seven Up, Inc., 5301 Legacy Drive, Plano, TX 75024 (individually “Sponsor” and collectively “Sponsors”)
“Start Date”: 12:01 am (Central Time) October 9, 2007
HOW TO PLAY: During the Game Period, visit
www.40winners.com, complete the online registration form with your actual name, address, city, state, zip code, date of birth, daytime telephone number, and e-mail address, and click on the “submit” button. Limit one game play per person, per email address, per day during the Game Period. Incomplete, mechanically reproduced, automated, and/or duplicate entries and entries made using third-party software or a third-party website are not permitted and will be deemed void. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting a Game play, the Game play will be deemed to be submitted by the person in whose name the email account is registered, or the Game play shall be deemed void, in Sponsors’ sole discretion. All Game plays become the property of Sponsors and will in no event be acknowledged or returned to any Game player, and no correspondence thereafter shall be entered into between Sponsors and Game player. All Game plays must be received by 11:59 pm (Central Time) November 17, 2007. Internet TV users are not supported.
WINNING: During the Game Period, prizes will be awarded at random via an algorithmic program from among all eligible Game plays. Potential winners will immediately see a winning notification page describing their prize, which the Game player must print out and retain for his/her records. All potential prize winners must meet all eligibility requirements set forth in these Official Rules to qualify to receive a prize.
PRIZES:
40 GRAND PRIZES: Grand Prize Contestant Trip: A trip for two to a Grand Prize Game in which winner is eligible as a Pass Contestant to participate in the Preliminary Competition described below. The Pass Contestant must be able to travel to the Game Location on Thursday, November 29, 2007, and depart the Game Location on Sunday, December 2, 2007. Trip includes round trip coach air transportation for two from the major U.S. airport nearest the Pass Contestant’s home to the Game Location, three nights (standard, double occupancy) lodging, airport transfers, commemorative gifts (which shall be solely determined by Sponsors), admission to pre-game Sponsors’ party, and two tickets to the Grand Prize Game (ARV: $2,800.00). The Game Location for each Pass Contestant shall be at Sponsors’ sole discretion. In the event that the Grand Prize Game is cancelled or preempted for any reason, no substitution of that portion of the prize will be provided. Guest of Pass Contestant must travel with Pass Contestant on same itinerary, and shall be required (or, if a minor, his/her parent/legal guardian shall be required) to sign and return a travel companion release and release of liability/publicity prior to issuance of travel documents (Tennessee residents need not complete the publicity release). Minors traveling with Pass Contestant must be accompanied at all times by their parent/legal guardian. Travel arrangements shall be through Sponsors’ agent, on a carrier of Sponsors’ choice. Certain restrictions/blackout dates may apply, and travel is subject to applicable provider’s terms and conditions. Trip may not be combined with any other offer, and travel may not qualify for frequent flyer miles or other similar credits or benefits. Approximate retail value may vary based on location of Pass Contestant’s residence. Entrants acknowledge that the Grand Prize and its value are trip, game tickets, commemorative gifts (if any), and only the chance to compete as described herein. The value of the chance to compete and the odds of winning the competition are dependent on a multitude of factors and cannot be determined with any degree of certainty, and no odds or value on such aspect of the Game shall be ascribed to such portion. All other expenses not specifically mentioned herein, including but not limited to taxes and transportation to/from the airport, are the sole responsibility of each Pass Contestant and/or Guest of Pass Contestant.
40 FIRST PRIZES: Chick-fil-A for a Year (consisting of 52 Chick-fil-A Combo Meal coupons redeemable at participating Chick-fil-A locations, each coupon valid for a free Chick-fil-A Combo Meal). (ARV: $260.52 each set).
Total ARV of all instant-win prizes is $122,420.80.
