All reviews i have found of this set seem to point to it being region free. And a beautiful looking set. Keep in mind, though, that any extras in standard def may be in pal and wont play on standard us players. Price for this has always been low at amazon.uk, but not this low. Good deal.

so far any of the UK bluray sets I've bought have had NTSC extras. so I've concluded that possibly if they make a boxset region free they put NTSC extras. PAL players must be able to play NTSC stuff......why can't ours play PAL???
but yes, you should still be aware that they may be PAL
