I was not able to use any of the coupons. I had a very bad experience.
I had coupons with a code and ones without. I only showed them the ones that showed the store web address. I showed them the one for $20 off and one for 50% off. I asked nicely if I could use one of them, and I was the only person in the store and well dressed. I was first told that the coupons had already been used (?) and that they were pirated and printed from a "bad" website.
Then when I mentioned that they both (the ones I showed them) were printed off the website for the CWC store, so they were not from another source, I was told that the coupons were only for people who were reactivating a charge account even if the coupons DID have a code. I was grilled as to where I got them (a friend sent me the link) and why I was at the store, etc. I was very nice about it, but I was not treated kindly and would not go back to the store.
If Cold Water Creek does not want people to use the coupons, they should print something on them like "only for use with a credit account reactivation, etc." How was I to know what they were for? Don't these people know about the internet and coupons/offers going viral . . . and possibly bringing in a lot of new customers?
I will not be buying there. I used to buy their clothes a while ago, and stopped since I did not like the colors and styles for a couple of years and I was ready to come back, but I feel that the staff /policies to customers is not nice at all.
I must reiterate that I was the only customer in the whole store!! Guess they are not hurting for business!
