Comcast - $50 Cash Back, Free Modem, Free Router, $19.99/Month for 6 Months

Comcast cable internet service looks like they are trying to get everyone to sign up.

- Click here to see the offer

Sign up on or before August 31, 2005 and get

- Free cable modem ( D-Link DCM-202 )
- Free Wireless Router ( D-Link )
- $50 Cash Back
- First 6 months for $19.99/month ( Only for Comcast Cable customers )

That's not a bad deal because it includes the wireless router. A solid deal that's always around is the 6 months for $19.99, FAR Motorola SB5100 cable modem, and a $50 card to Circuit City when you sign up there.

The Motorola modem is a bit better than that D-Link.

In the fine print it says that the $19.99 is for Comcast cable customers. Is there a way to get around this because I want to stick with my DirecTV?

Will Circuit City give me the price without being a Comcast Cable customer?

But you must be a current Comcast cable subscriber to get this deal. Otherwise it's $29.99 per month.

Yo!

is it Comast?

I cant find a website for comast

True, I was considering that you were already a cable customer.

A good rule of thumb is that by the time you pay the $15 extra for Comcast HSI without cable, you could just get basic cable for around $10 to $11. That gives you the promotion and discounted rates on HSI, and you also get the cable service to backup your satellite.

The Broadband National website (the initial offer listed) looks a little shady. Has anyone signed up through this site who can confirm that it's legit?!?

Thanks!

Damn Comcast

i currently have Comcast High Speed Internet. Its 4mbps BUT it is pretty damn expenssive. I am currently Paying $57 a month. we are not Comcast Digital Cable subscribers and i own my own modem. If you dont own your own modem its $3 more to lease it from them (used to be $10 to lease the modem so i was saving $10 a month before when i was with ATT but since Comcast took over they screwed me over) anyway its expenssive. If you dont need the super speed but would like broadband (about 8x faster and not 56k/no dial up) i would suggest SBC's $15 a month promotion for a year. (although Comcast for $30 a month isnt that bad... but if you get hooked to that speed those $57 will hurt) if you are a speed junky and it is available in your area i would highly recomend Verizon Fios. its 15mbps for $50... i would jump on that if i could.. Its even cheaper than Comcast!

Why don't you just add basic cable (~$10) to your account, it will qualify you for the $42.95 regular Comcast rate, making your bill around $53-$54, and you get the cable service as a bonus.

I'm a college student and broadband is almost a must for me. I've used comcastoffers.com two years straight now and have had no problems with their mail in rebates and the service. Also, what I did in order to save some on the cable, I asked them what the cheapest service was and the rep that I spoke with told me that it was something like basic limited. Anyways, its only $8.30 a month so my total comes out to around $29 a month. Only thing to watch out on is the rebates have to be sent almost immediately or else they'll expire...
