Comcast Cable Internet - $19.99/month + $75 Back + Free MP3 Player

I did this deal last year before college. Comcast has some awesome speeds, and, not only that, you can cancel your bill after the 6 months is up!

err

i have been using comcast for a while now.. well around here before comcast it was ATT and befor ATT it was MediaOne. Slowly the prices have risen each time it was transfered and i am currently paying $56 a month :\ . Has anyone succesfully been able to get the $19.99 offer as an existing subscriber? I know some people have done that with SBC's new prices of $15 a month for up to 1.5mbps and $25 a month for up to 3mbps... i might just switch to DSL... its so much cheaper even though Comcast is currently at 4mbps. I wishi Verizon FIOS was available in my area. $50 a month for 15mbps :(

The link states $25 cash back and that it expires on June 15.

If you buy Comcast through CompUSA, Circuit City or Best Buy, you get a similar deal. I did this two weeks ago through CompuUSAand got $19.99 for 6 months, a free cable modem, a free router and $75 gift card (all after rebates, of course). They have deals running all of the time so before going directly through Comcast try CompUSA, Circuit City and Best Buy. If you get Vonage with it, you get unlimited local and long distance calling to USA, Canada, Mexico and England for $28.00/month including tax. CompUSA will give you a free box which converts your current phone lines to be compatible with the VOIP network and yet you can use your same old regular phones and jacks!

"Offer available to new residential customers, and former residential customers whose accounts are in good standing and who have not had Comcast High-Speed Internet service during the last 30 days."

blah.
