Is this supposed to be a class 1 or class 2 bluetooth adapter? For some reason the tech specs lists both of them. If their range listing is correct, it should be listed as a class 2.

Class 1 gets much much better range, around the same as wifi. I used to have a class 2 and its range was low for my needs so I had to upgrade to a class 1.
 
I have one of these already and love it. The software is very good for moving data between devices and phones. If you want a bluetooth adapter, this is the one to get !!!

According to the manufacturer rebate, it is Class 2 (F8T013v).

I got it in store with that $5 off coupon, hot deal for me :)
