I have doubt about the rebate

Given CompUSA's financial problems, I would be a little weary of any CompUSA rebate.

Sadly, getting a rebate back from any company is an iffy thing. Getting a rebate back from a financially unhealthy company is super iffy.

I use this print server and had bought it for 30 bucks last year. its pretty good though you may want to save the instruction sheet for any future use.

I can't find it now but I read somewhere a couple days ago that if you buy an item with a rebate after 02/27/2007 at a store that is closing the rebate will not be honored. Closing stores are found at http://www.compusa.com/locations/closing_stores.asp?ref=performics

billgates555 is right. It says right on the form that it's valid in CompUSA stores, but "Excludes Puerto Rico and any closing stores."

Glad you pointed it out. I would have made the purchase and it seems all of the stores in my area are closing.

Wait....I thought CompUSA recently took over all the Good Guys stores...now they are closing them???? Must be tough selling computer stuff these days.
