i saw one in tigerdirect.com. XFX GeForce 6800 Xtreme / 256MB GDDR3 / SLI / PCI Express / Dual DVI / HDTV / Video Card is selling for 105 after rebate. is this a better one or the 6600??

actually this 6600GT card is better than the XFX GeForce 6800 Xtreme because it runs at a 500mhz core clock speed and the xfx 6800 runs at 350mhz.
 
Core clock is only a quarter of what goes into performance measures. Checkout reviews comparing the two cards. Without doubt, 6800 EXTREME is a faster card
 
where can i find the review for both of those cards???

Actually the 6600 GT is going to be faster than the 6800 Extreme because the 6800 Extreme is actually a cut down of a regular 6800 (12 pipes) and it only has 8 PIXEL PIPELINES like the 6600gt. The 8 pipes of 6600gt is running at 500 MHZ while the 6800 Xtreme is running at only 350 MHZ. I can't find any reviews for the 6800 Xtreme but it's actually an 6800 XT and here is its review: http://www.guru3d.com/article/Videocards/286/ . Keep in mind that the extreme reviewed in this is clocked at 425 MHZ core not 350 MHZ, so the XFX 350 MHZ AGP version should be much slower... Hope that helps.
