Be careful to include a SASE or you won't get your rebate. I did everything but this and even scanned my documentation. Duh, minor overlook and FAR turned into $28 I'm not getting back. :( Oh, well. Lesson learned. This is not a normal thing for rebates.

It means to include an empty envelope with proper postage and your address on it so that they will return the check to you. Guess they'll do anything to make a buck.

This is a strange rebate. I mean SASE and online
registration of intent to submit rebate.
It's almost unbelievable the lengths these rebate
processors go to so they don't have to key in the data.
 
That's what keeps their costs down. If they have YOU generate the data and print a barcoded form, then all they have to do is scan the sheet, verify the contents, and sit on your rebate for several months. Otherwise they have to pay someone to key in all that data.
 
I did their rebate that was from late November and was just notified that my submission was rejected because I did not include the original serial number that was on the box. There wasn't one on the box. It was only on a sticker that was on the edge of the power supply for warranty purposes (it would have to be be broken or removed to open up the power supply). I noted that and filled in the serial number in the space provided. Their website showed it as being in process for the last 12 weeks (it was supposed to be 8 weeks) and I was only notified after sending 2 emails to their rebate email address.
