Corsair 512mb 60x SD Card for Free Shipped After Rebate

looks like a good deal, however, i was looking at its rebates, and interestingly enough, both rebates ask for a copy of the original upc... anyone had any experiences with sending in two copies of the original upc?

regards,
J

Yea I just send in a copy of the original UPC to each and recieve both rebates. It doesn't ask for the orginal UPC itself does it?

I've gotten TD rebates before, they'll guarantee their rebates. If you're that fearful perhaps you should get an 11' pole, w/ a pen at the end so you could actually fill the rebates out ofcourse!

Tiger Direct does offer "rebate guarantee" but you have to send them by "certified mail return receipt requested". They did this because they got into trouble with rebates.

I have received several rebates from them and had to either call
or email for not getting them but all were eventually received. Not as reliable
as Staples for sure.

Oh, certified mail is costly! man I'll just photocopy my stuffs and the envelope. Also when a rebate is denied, you get a confirmation, and that's proof enough that you actually sent it in!

I tried top get a 10 foot pole off of TD (free with rebates). They denied my rebates so I got an 11 foot pole off of e-bay and beat them up with it! har-de-har-har...

anyway, I'm not sure how to do this (I know how to do rebates in general....). I'll either put the orginal UPC in the $12 rebate and a photocopy of it in the $10 OR try to be super sneaky and put the $10 rebate form+photocopy in an envolope INSIDE the $12 rebate coupon/orginal UPC envelope. I'll even make sure it has a stamp on it, too :)

damn, I'm smoooooth.

from my experiences with TD, i would give them a :thumbs_do

This item is no longer available for sale according to the link that directs you to tiger direct.

Deal like this go fast man! use your SONIC SPEED to get to a deal before you miss it. LOL.

Same here. A power supply I bought at their store quit after two weeks and they would only give me a store credit. Then a 512 mb SD card froze up after two months and they told me to go to the manufacturer for a replacement.

Their prices are great. Their customer service? Not so much.
